The T Series DAC is based on our critically acclaimed Aletheia DAC 1.5 from our sister brand Vertex AQ. Using a TDA1543 with high speed and low noise voltage regulation, we focus on simplicity of design.

The TDA 1543 is a non-over sampling (NOS) chip which has no software running in chip. It uses a resistive ladder approach to conversion which, put simply, means it assume that the digital signal is of high quality. Partnered with our digital streamers, the T Series DAC lifts digital replay to a new level. Because we don't allow erroneous algorithms and do everything we can to ensure the integrity of the digital signal being fed into the chip is preserved, the combination leaves the listener marvelling at the performance and emotionally engaged with the music.

Key features of the T Series DAC are:

  • 16-bit up to 96KHz conversion
  • BNC, RCA and optical S/PDIF inputs
  • USB 2.0 input (asynchronous mode)
  • stereo single-end RCA or XLR output (switchable)
  • Level 2 EMI and RF absorption
  • Level 2 acoustic absorption
  • low resonance and acoustic signature casework

Build Process, Packaging and Delivery:

Quiescent products are hand-built to order. Many of our techniques and processes are time-consuming and must be scheduled in a sequential manner, so during this time Quiescent will email you every Friday with progress updates. Once your order has passed quality assurance, we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date. All larger products are shipped in a purpose-built flight case that you should retain should you need to move or ship the item again in the future.

In the unlikely event that a Quiescent product fails to function perfectly, you will be able to return the item to us for repair under warranty using the process described in our Lifetime Support Agreement (LSA). The LSA (inc warranty) is transferable should you sell the item later; simply inform us of the new owner’s details so we can update our records.
