A more recent yet extremely useful product from Vertex AQ, the Anetos combine the features of the Jaya shunt filters with an in-line DC blocking circuit. DC offset can be very troublesome in certain systems, causing audible buzzes from mains transformers, but it will also raise the noise floor of your power supplies causing increased hash and loss of detail and tonality.

The Standard Aneto contains a fast shunt filter circuit built on a acoustic absorption labyrinth, wired with SPOFC cabling. The Silver Aneto contains a more complex acoustic absorption labyrinth with a wider bandwidth shunt mains filter circuit, and is built using pure silver wire. Both contain an identical passive DC blocking circuit with component values that allow full mains current up to 13A to be passed.

Both of these Anetos offer considerable performance improvements where DC offset is present.

  • Easy to use – module with 13A IEC inlet and captive outlet lead terminated in IEC connector. Simply use as an in-line extension to your normal equipment mains lead.
  • Standard Aneto, dimensions 220mm x 105mm x 45mm, standard acoustic labyrinth, standard shunt filter, SPOFC wiring.
  • Silver Aneto, dimensions 220mm x 105mm x 45mm, enhanced acoustic labyrinth, high-speed shunt filter, solid-core (4n) silver wiring.
